What is the difference between the Chongqing Yokogawa Chuanyi EJA transmitter and the Japanese Yokogawa EJA transmitter

The main difference lies in the production locations: Chongqing Yokogawa ChuanYi transmitters are manufactured in Chongqing, China, while Yokogawa EJA transmitters are produced in Japan. Globally, there are two factories, one in Japan and one in Chongqing, collectively known as Chongqing Yokogawa ChuanYi Co., Ltd. Currently, most of the Yokogawa EJA transmitters available in China are produced by this company. Products from both factories belong to the Yokogawa brand.

Chongqing Yokogawa S&Y Co., Ltd. (CYS) was founded in 1995 with a total investment of US$34.2 million, jointly invested by Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Chongqing S&Y Automation Co., Ltd., and Yokogawa Electric (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Adhering to the corporate philosophy of "Quality First, Pioneering Spirit, Social Contribution", the company has maintained sustained, healthy, and rapid development. Its leading product, the EJA Smart Transmitter, has achieved an annual sales volume exceeding 370,000 units. In June 2020, the total sales volume of the main product, the EJA Smart Transmitter, surpassed the milestone of 4 million units, making it one of the major transmitter manufacturers and suppliers in China

In terms of product quality, the products produced by the two factories are identical. Many customers mistakenly believe that the quality of domestic products is definitely not as good as that of products produced by the original Japanese factory. This is a wrong idea. Why spend more money to buy the same exact product abroad when it can be purchased domestically!
